Everything you need to know to launch, manage, and grow your tamale business on FindTamales.
Getting Started
Create Your Seller Account
Visit the registration page and select "Sell on FindTamales." You'll need a valid email, phone number, and a brief description of your business. Verification takes 1–2 business days.
Set Up Your Store Profile
Add your business name, cover photo, profile photo, and a compelling description. Stores with complete profiles receive 3× more views than incomplete ones.
Choose Your Plan
The Free plan lets you list up to 5 menu items and one location. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited listings, multiple locations, and priority placement in search results.
Building Your Menu
Add Menu Items
Go to Dashboard → Menu → Add Item. Include clear photos, a detailed description, masa style, filling type, heat level, and price. Items with photos receive 80% more clicks.
Set Availability
Mark items as available or sold out directly from your menu dashboard. Use the "Seasonal" flag for holiday specialties like Christmas tamales.
Pricing Tips
Price per tamale or per dozen. Check competitor pricing in your area via the search page. Don't race to the bottom — quality commands premium prices.
Managing Locations
Add a Pickup Location
Go to Dashboard → Locations and enter your address. Buyers within the search radius will see you on the map. You can add multiple locations on the Pro plan.
Set Your Hours
Set open/close times for each day of the week. You can also mark specific dates as closed (holidays, events) from the Schedule section.
Delivery Options
If you offer delivery, enable it under Location settings and set your delivery radius and minimum order. Delivery listings appear with a special badge in search results.
Growing Your Business
Respond to Reviews
Thank happy customers and professionally address negative reviews. Sellers who respond to reviews consistently earn 20% higher ratings over time.
Use Deals & Promotions
Pro sellers can create limited-time deals that appear in the Daily Deals section. A well-timed promotion can double your weekly orders.
Track Your Analytics
Your dashboard shows profile views, menu clicks, and order trends. Use this data to see which items are popular and when buyers are most active.
